I really don't know how to describe these last couple of weeks because
I haven't been doing a good job of writing, but on a good note things
are looking pretty positive with the work here in Alhambra. We found a
couple new people a day before church and invited them to church and
they were like "Yea I'm down!". We found them rides, and THEY CAME.
On top of that we recently dropped some people
earlier in the week because they didn't show any desire to change and
then what do you know. They came to church on their own with out us
inviting them or anything. That was pretty cool to see.
Our main investigators right now are Corey, Felipe, and Christine.
Corey and Felipe are people we have recently been teaching and
Christine is the one we dropped. We were teaching her and her
boyfriend and it seemed that their interest had kinda fizzled out but
it turns out Christine really wants the gospel in her life, and wants
it for her two kids as well. I don't think her boyfriend is too
supportive of it and she's actually trying to find a new place to stay
because "that's what God wants her to do". This is a complete turn
around from the way she acted before and I'm grateful for that.
